I think this may be the one! Mid 40’s here 🖐🏾 so makeup matters. I don’t like a lot of makeup just need something that’s an everyday look. I was using Maybelline super stay white top but that’s been discontinued.. so I tried this one. This one is a keeper. Here’s what I like. About this foundation: I love the way it glides on and blends well. I also love that the color matches my skin tone, and I like the fact that it doesn’t feel caked on. Nor does it accentuate face lines or creasing. Can be layered if you want more coverage, but this does an excellent job with one coat. Does well at covering up my hyperpigmentation and acne marks. Very lightweight, a tip I used to keep this looking smooth is, after skin prepping. I go in with the pore eraser primer. Use this and set it with a powdered foundation and the coverage last for me all day. I have oily skin and this did not make my face feel greasy. I’m surprised how well it held up. There is some transferring, and I’m not a big fan of the dropper. However this seems to be my go to foundation. I’ve been searching just about every foundation and this one is affordable and the results are great. The photo is me after working a 10 hr shift, makeup still in place.

I didn’t think the CN 28 Ivory would cover my freckles. But, it did, just enough to look natural and more even. This foundation lasts all day for me. I do use a pore minimizer primer. But, even without it, there is wonderful even coverage. I have not paid this much for a foundation, ever. However, with getting older, I am noticing the ones I had been using were starting to gather in the small lines, or would made me look very “fake” with a plastic sort of feel to them. I want more than a tinted moisturizer for days I am in the office and this brand works beautifully. I will be using it from now on and am very pleased with the feel and look. (I do wish it was a bit less $ for the 1 ounce.)

This is my favorite powder. Minerals are the only way. I don’t really use this as a foundation, but I do use it as a setting powder. I have tried a zillion foundations from crazy expensive to crazy affordable. I used to use bare minerals years ago & just strayed. The last foundation ( Bobbie brown) was awful. It felt and looked like you put melted Vaseline on your face. It really accentuated my pores. I tried all levels of application with it but to no avail. Now I use it as a tinted moisturizer on my arms. Well, anyway,,,,I rediscovered the bare minerals. I forgot how light it feels on your face. And how it truly does even out the skin tone. I usually put a light moisturizer on and wait 10 min before lightly applying with a very soft brush. My sun spots are a different, drier texture, which is why I have to apply a moisturizer first,,,plus AI’m 64,,,,gotta apply a little in general. I do fight trying camouflage my sun spots,,,especially since they are right on my cheek bones. I feel as though this does take them down a notch without having to pile on concealor first. The compact will last a long time. I love all the shades to choose from.
